Co-Founder at Ionworks
I am Co-Founder at Ionworks and a core developer of the open-source battery modelling package PyBaMM. At Ionworks we are building the modern software stack for batteries, powered by PyBaMM. If you'd like to find out more, please get in touch.
Before founding Ionworks I was a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. My research focused on the Mathematical Modelling of Batteries and was conducted within the Multi-Scale Modelling Fast Start Project of the Faraday Institution. I gained my PhD from the University of East Anglia in 2018, where I worked on problems related to the safe handling of energetic materials.
More generally, I am interested in the use of asymptotic methods applied to practical problems arising from industry which couple mechanics, heat flow, and chemistry. I also have significant experience liaising with industry to direct research aims and develop impact from research outcomes.
